As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will assist tenants, visitors, and staff with customer service and clear communication, document observations, and report concerns. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver’s license meeting Allied Universal driver policy requirements, supported by teamwork and integrity.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be able to ride a bike.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, parking areas, loading areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe building activity, verifying credentials and/or directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services as needed.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations in written and/or electronic reports, escalating concerns through the proper channels.
