Job Description As a Security Officer - Battery Manufacturer Patrol in Sparks, NV , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media environment, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure atmosphere. By conducting routine patrols and remaining highly visible, you will provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including both the business interior and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
Monitor the premises for unusual activity or potential security-related concerns, reporting findings as required by site policies.
Collaborate with team members and site personnel to support a secure environment in a technology-driven workplace.
Document incidents, observations, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
