About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol in Omaha, NE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and observe any unusual conditions.
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and any security-related occurrences as required by site protocols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client personnel to address and report security-related concerns.
Remain alert to any suspicious activity or potential threats within the location, taking prompt action as outlined in site procedures.
Assist visitors and employees with inquiries, directions, and general information while upholding a professional presence.
