About The Position

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Sentinel in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor guidance. You will communicate clearly with staff and guests, respond to alarms and unusual activity, and document observations with attention to detail. Requirements

• Have at least 1+ years' armed security, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial services location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, lobby areas, ATM areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
• Monitor access points, observe for tailgating and/or unauthorized entry, and assist with visitor management per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency services when needed.
• Complete timely reports and documentation of incidents, patrol observations, and/or customer interactions in accordance with site and Allied Universal requirements.
