As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver in Tempe, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a financial institution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the area. You will play a key role in creating a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets, while delivering exceptional customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution location and its perimeter to observe for suspicious activity and/or potential hazards.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
  • Communicate with clients, visitors, and employees to support a secure and welcoming environment.
  • Document and report incidents, observations, and/or hazards according to established protocols.
