As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will interact with customers and staff, deliver exceptional service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of integrity and teamwork. This is a driving position, offering the opportunity to be active and engaged throughout your shift in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • CPR or first aid certification is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment within the financial institution location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences within the location.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and staff to offer assistance and uphold Allied Universal standards.
  • Complete required reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and daily activities in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary in accordance with site-specific protocols.
