As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol Driver in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol locations within financial institutions, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming environment for clients and staff. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license. Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences within the financial institution environment.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations as required by site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency responders when necessary.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and/or customers by providing information or directions as needed.
