Job Description As a Security Officer - Bank Entry Greeter in PHOENIX, AZ , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a high-profile financial institution location, you will be the first point of contact for employees and visitors, supporting access control, badge processing, and entry protocols. You will monitor lobby activity, document security-related events, and communicate professionally with site teams to help to deter incidents. Requirements

  • Have a minimum of 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A guard card and/or security license is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service at the front desk by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Control access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointments, issuing temporary badges, and directing guests to the appropriate area.
  • Monitor lobby activity, cameras, alarms, and communications equipment; document unusual activity and report concerns through the chain of command.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; coordinate with management and/or first responders when required.
  • Maintain accurate logs and reports for visitors, deliveries, keys, and incident activity; communicate shift updates and post instructions to Allied Universal supervision.
