About The Position

As a Security Officer - Bank Branch Patrols in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a financial institution location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you conduct routine patrols and interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a financial institution setting.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting a secure environment for employees and visitors.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Observe and report security-related incidents or irregularities, documenting all findings as required by Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence to help to deter potential threats.
Communicate with management, law enforcement, and/or emergency responders as needed to address incidents or emergencies on site.
Support site-specific security-related operations as directed by Allied Universal leadership and site management.
