Requirements

A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, badge and credential verification, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Monitor entry and exit points at the location, verify identification and authorization, document visitor and/or vehicle activity, and report unusual or unauthorized access attempts through established security-related protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including access points, parking areas, gates, and other restricted areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
Help to deter unauthorized access and security-related concerns within a chemical and petrochemical location by observing site activity, enforcing post orders, and preparing accurate reports on incidents, inspections, and daily operations.
