About The Position

As a Security Officer Badge Verification Driver in Deer Park, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support badge-related processes while helping to maintain a professional, people-first environment. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
A TSA issued TWIC is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Access control/badge experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, vendor, and contractor activity in accordance with post orders and site protocols.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observed concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, paying close attention to restricted areas, access points, and other sensitive locations where security-related concerns may arise.
Support security-related operations by maintaining accurate logs, reporting unusual activity, and helping to deter unauthorized access, theft, and/or policy violations through consistent presence and observation.
