Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.
CPR or first aid training is preferred.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access points to help maintain authorized entry to the location, following established procedures and site-specific policies.
Verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the premises, including employees, visitors, and contractors, to help support access control protocols.
Provide customer service by assisting individuals with directions, information, and addressing inquiries related to access procedures.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as necessary according to site protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
Document and report any irregularities, security-related incidents, or unusual activities to the appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and client representatives to support a secure environment tailored to the needs of the automotive industry location.
