About The Position
As a Security Officer - Badge Check Patrol in Canal Winchester, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will support access points and respond to concerns with clear communication and professional customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating notifications and documenting actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points and truck traffic flow, verify identification and/or visitor credentials as required, and report unauthorized activity or hazards to site leadership.
- Complete detailed shift reports and incident reports, communicate observations to incoming officers and/or supervisors, and support investigations by preserving observations and relevant information.
