About The Position

As a Security Officer - Automotive Lot Guard in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Allied Universal Security Professional assigned to an access control post in an automotive location, you will monitor entrances and exits, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Applicants must provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Control access to the location by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and checkpoints to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with questions related to site access and procedures.
  • Follow site-specific policies and procedures for access control and security-related protocols.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating as needed according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
  • Document observations, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and site contacts.
