Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience or at least 1 year of law enforcement experience, or at least 2 years of experience as a security-related supervisor or manager, or at least 3 years of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the automotive facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any unusual activities or incidents within the location to appropriate Allied Universal personnel and/or client representatives.
• Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and directions as needed within the automotive environment.
• Document and maintain detailed records of security-related activities, incidents, and/or irregularities as required by site protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when necessary, following established procedures.
