Job Description As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Team in Portland, OR , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will also provide exceptional customer service and clear communication as you interact with employees and visitors. Requirements

Customer service experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the automotive location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
Observe and report any suspicious activities or security-related hazards within the location.
Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees while performing patrol duties.
Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits during patrols.
Complete detailed and accurate daily activity reports and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and the client site.
