As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol auto industry locations to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact positively with employees and visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Loss prevention experience is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and other areas of the location to help to deter unauthorized access and report irregularities.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and/or employees as needed.
  • Document incidents, observations, and/or activities in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Collaborate with other Allied Universal personnel and/or local authorities as required.
