About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Shift in Fremont, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with visitors and employees, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required as specified by the client.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and to monitor for potential security-related concerns within the auto industry environment.
Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site representatives regarding incidents, security-related concerns, or emergency situations.
Assist visitors, employees, and vendors with site access and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete detailed and accurate reports documenting any incidents, observations, and patrol activities as required by site policies.
