As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a visible presence. This is a driving post, so you will navigate the property and respond to various situations as needed. You will engage with visitors and staff, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

Requirements

At least one year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Working environments and conditions may vary depending on the site.
Monitor for unusual activity and report any security-related concerns promptly.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Document incidents and complete security-related reports as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
