About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Patrol Driver in Buffalo, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout an automotive location. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and/or suspicious behavior. Working environments and conditions may vary by site.
Document and report any observed irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and/or local law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Assist visitors and employees with directions and information while maintaining a professional presence.
Monitor access points and check identification or credentials as required by site policies.
