About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Security Driver in Claycomo, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling designated auto industry locations. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post, requiring you to operate a vehicle as part of your responsibilities, while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by performing access control procedures and following site-specific policies, including responding to emergencies as appropriate.
Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activities at the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting and reporting as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and surrounding perimeter to observe and report security-related concerns.
Communicate with site personnel, visitors, and Allied Universal management to address security-related matters and provide assistance as needed.
Maintain a visible presence at access points to help to deter potential security-related threats and/or unauthorized individuals.
Follow all procedures related to access control, visitor management, and emergency response as directed by Allied Universal and site leadership.
