Job Description As a Security Officer - Auto Lot Patrol in Buffalo, NY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics, distribution, and auto locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible and approachable. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with people on-site, and provide outstanding customer service, all while upholding our values of reliability, innovation, and teamwork. Requirements

A guard card or license is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including both indoor and outdoor areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity in logistics, distribution, and automotive locations.
Monitor building entrances, exits, and loading areas to help to deter unauthorized access or suspicious activity in environments that may include warehouses, distribution centers, and automotive facilities.
Communicate with site staff and visitors to provide directions and assistance as needed.
Document and report all security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
Remain alert to potential hazards or unusual situations in the location and promptly report any concerns to the appropriate parties.
