As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal in an automotive environment, you will monitor entry points and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. Your presence and attention to detail contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so a valid driver's license is required. Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, responding to emergency situations.
Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and/or security-related breaches.
Document observations and/or incidents according to Allied Universal protocols.
Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and/or contractors while upholding site policies and procedures.
Assist with the management of visitor and vehicle access as required at the location.
