As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned locations within the automotive industry, helping to deter security-related incidents and creating a welcoming environment through visible presence and excellent customer service. You will engage with visitors and staff, respond to incidents, and support access control efforts, all while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and innovation. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor access points and observe activities within the location to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
Document and report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing information and guidance while maintaining site protocols.
Collaborate with site personnel and local authorities as required during incidents and emergency situations.
