You will remain highly visible to support a secure environment and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and observing for unusual conditions.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
  • Communicate with Allied Universal management and/or local law enforcement as needed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs and/or reports of daily activities, incidents, and observations during patrols.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and contractors by providing directions and information relevant to the location.
