As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within an automotive location, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, assist with access control, and deliver exceptional customer service. Requirements

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

CPR certification is preferred.
Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
Experience in loss prevention is preferred.
Experience with alarm panels is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the automotive location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with directions and general inquiries while maintaining a professional presence.
Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain order within the location.
Complete required incident and daily activity reports accurately and promptly.
