Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as you may be assigned driving duties as part of your post.

Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and permissions for entry and exit.
Assist visitors and employees by providing helpful information and direction as needed.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to support a secure environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Report and document any unusual or suspicious activity observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
Support emergency response activities as directed, communicating with Allied Universal management and local authorities as necessary.
