About The Position

As a Security Officer - Auto Facility Entry in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a prestigious automotive location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
  • Comfort with using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry to the location, following all site-specific policies and protocols.
  • Provide customer service by assisting visitors, employees, and contractors with entry requirements and general inquiries.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to verify credentials and maintain a controlled environment.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to observe for unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, following established procedures for the location.
