Requirements

A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
Applicants must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card or license is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.

Responsibilities

Assist with access control procedures at the location, verifying credentials and monitoring entry and exit points.
Provide customer service by following site-specific policies and procedures, addressing inquiries, and assisting visitors and employees as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and report any unusual activity.
Monitor surveillance equipment and report any security-related concerns or irregularities to the appropriate personnel.
Support Allied Universal and client management with site-specific security-related tasks as directed.
