Requirements
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel and visitors in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access control procedures and protocols.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations related to access control in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Document and report any suspicious activity or security-related incidents observed during patrols or while monitoring access points.
- Follow emergency response procedures when necessary, communicating with Allied Universal management and/or local authorities as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by site-specific policies.
