Requirements

At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Perform screening procedures at designated entry points to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain security-related protocols within the location.
Provide outstanding customer service by interacting with employees, visitors, and/or contractors in a professional manner.
Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client guidelines.
Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and utilize problem-solving skills to address issues as they arise.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
Support emergency response activities as appropriate, following established protocols for the location.
Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and site requirements.
