As a Security Officer - Auto Auction - Full Time in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an unarmed, driving patrol officer at a tech and media campus, you will complete routine vehicle and foot rounds, stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support access control and visitor flows. You will document observations, communicate clearly with teams on site, and deliver customer-focused service with integrity. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and media location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access control points and assist with visitor and contractor check-in, badge verification, and directing guests to approved destinations in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including writing timely reports and notifying the appropriate parties as required.
  • Observe and report unusual conditions, hazards, and/or maintenance issues, and communicate findings to Allied Universal supervision and site contacts per post orders.
