As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated areas within a prominent government location, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Your visible presence and proactive approach will contribute to a welcoming environment. You will interact with visitors and staff, respond to incidents, and uphold our values of reliability, teamwork, and integrity in every aspect of your role.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, or unusual occurrences, in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying credentials as required by site procedures.
Provide support during emergency situations by following established protocols and assisting first responders as needed.
Communicate clearly and promptly with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding incidents and/or daily activities.
