As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol retail locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This armed position requires driving, and you will remain highly visible to support a secure environment for customers and staff. Requirements

An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other prohibited behaviors.
Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences according to company and client protocols.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees and customers.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and licensing requirements for armed security professionals.
