Join Allied Universal on an armed patrol post supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to reports, document activity, and communicate professionally with staff and visitors. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential issues.
  • Monitor access points, verify identification and/or authorization as required, and assist with controlled entry procedures in accordance with post orders.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with Allied Universal leadership and public agency personnel as needed.
  • Complete required reports and logs, document incidents and unusual activity, and communicate key information during shift briefings and/or handoffs.
