As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will actively monitor and patrol utility locations, providing a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure environment through routine patrols and strong communication, while delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
Possess a valid TSA issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC).
Hold a valid armed guard card or license.
Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the utility facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential threats.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols and procedures.
Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and the location management.
Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and contractors by assisting with inquiries and access control.
Monitor and report any irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Participate in emergency response activities as required by the location and Allied Universal protocols.
Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrol findings.
Communicate with Allied Universal management and location personnel regarding security-related matters and/or incidents.
