Requirements

Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site protocols.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
Carry out access control duties, verifying identification and permissions for entry in restricted areas.
Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement as required for incident response.
Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for the post profile.
Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific protocols.
