You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to support a secure atmosphere, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
  • Hold an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the technology and media location, including the business and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious behavior and report findings according to site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
  • Carry out access control duties, verifying identification and permissions for entry in restricted areas.
  • Document incidents and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal and client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with site personnel and local law enforcement as required for incident response.
  • Operate security-related equipment and technology as required for the post profile.
  • Adhere to all Allied Universal policies and procedures, as well as site-specific protocols.
