As a Security Officer - Armed Telecom Clearance in Manassas, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned tech and media locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Requirements

Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
Possess an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Pepper Spray Certification is preferred.
Handcuffs, Pepper Spray, and Baton certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity.
Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within a technology-focused location to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Maintain detailed records and logs of patrols, incidents, and observations as required by site-specific guidelines.
Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and site staff to address security-related concerns and support a secure environment.
Remain alert to potential threats and/or unusual activity, responding according to established protocols.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current with security-related practices and requirements specific to technology, media, and telecom environments.
