As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a dynamic tech and media location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents. Requirements
- Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
- Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret Clearance.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment.
- Monitor for unusual activity and report observations according to site protocols.
- Assist with access control and verify identification as required by site-specific procedures.
- Support Allied Universal and client personnel during emergency situations and/or drills.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, patrol activities, and daily operations as required.
