As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a retail location. Your responsibilities include conducting routine patrols throughout the premises, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing exceptional customer service to guests, staff, and visitors. This is an armed and driving position, requiring you to be prepared to respond to incidents and navigate the property as needed. You will interact with a diverse range of individuals, address security-related concerns, and support a welcoming atmosphere. Requirements

• Must have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Level III Armed Certification for Texas is required.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or other unwanted activity within the retail environment.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other critical areas as assigned, reporting any suspicious behavior or incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and activities in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with store management and/or law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
• Remain alert and aware of surroundings while carrying assigned equipment and/or firearms in accordance with company protocols and training requirements.
