Security Officer - Armed Secret Clearance
About The Position
As a Security Officer - Armed Airfield Patrol Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a cutting-edge aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and requests with calm, clear communication. This post requires an armed guard card/license and a valid driver’s license. Requirements
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
Nice To Haves
- Baton certification is preferred.
- Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and/or baton is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific procedures, access requirements, and/or emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with site leadership and/or public responders as directed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, production areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
- Control entry to restricted areas by verifying identification and authorization, screening deliveries, and maintaining logs and security-related documentation in accordance with post orders.
- Carry and handle assigned duty weapon and related equipment in compliance with Allied Universal policies, training requirements, and applicable regulations, including reporting and documenting any security-related events.
