Requirements

  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site guidelines.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout buildings, restricted areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or potential issues.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, and contractors entering sensitive aerospace and defense-related areas in accordance with site protocols.
  • Support incident response by communicating with site contacts, public responders, and Allied Universal leadership, while maintaining accurate logs and completing required reports.
