As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a hotel and resort setting, you will monitor and patrol guest areas and back-of-house spaces, complete routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to requests, document observations, and communicate clearly with staff and visitors while delivering a welcoming customer experience. Requirements

  • Have 1 or more years of armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a hotel and resort location.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, alarms, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with onsite management and/or local responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random foot patrols of interior areas, entrances, lobbies, corridors, amenities, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and public areas, verify credentials when required, and assist with crowd and/or queue management during peak occupancy and special events.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate timely updates to supervisors and site contacts per post orders.
