About The Position
As a Security Officer Armed Route Driver in Clinton, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. You will perform routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff and visitors through strong communication and customer service. Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and/or actions taken.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, checkpoints, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report suspicious behavior, contraband concerns, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with site protocols.
- Serve in an armed post capacity when assigned, maintaining readiness with issued equipment and following all applicable post orders, use of force guidelines, and reporting requirements.
