As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a strong presence at a dynamic retail location. This position requires both an armed guard card and a valid driver's license, as you will be responsible for patrolling assigned areas by vehicle and/or on foot. You will engage with the public, provide exceptional customer service, and communicate clearly while upholding our values of teamwork, reliability, and integrity. Requirements

An active armed guard card or license is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail environment and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure atmosphere.
Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to assist customers and employees as needed.
Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or security-related incidents to Allied Universal management or local authorities as required.
Follow all protocols regarding the carrying and use of authorized firearms while on duty.
Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
Collaborate with retail staff and Allied Universal team members to address concerns and support a positive environment for customers and employees.
