As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal at a retail location, you will conduct regular patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will interact with guests and staff, providing excellent customer service while maintaining a secure environment. This armed position allows you to be part of a team that values integrity, innovation, and putting people first, making a positive impact every day. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Access control or badge experience is preferred.
Loss prevention experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
Monitor for suspicious activity and report any irregularities or concerns to the appropriate personnel.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter theft and unauthorized access within the retail environment.
Interact with customers, employees, and/or visitors in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing the location's policies and procedures.
Support Allied Universal in maintaining high standards of service and upholding the reputation of the company at the location.
