As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a hotel and resort location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond with calm, clear communication. This post requires an Armed Guard Card and a valid driver’s license, supporting mobile patrols and guest service. Requirements

Armed Guard Card/License required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to guests, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a hotel and/or resort location.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including guest concerns, disputes, medical calls, and fire and/or intrusion alarms, and document actions taken.
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of guest areas, amenities, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify hazards and/or maintenance issues for reporting.
Control access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entry points, and enforcing property rules while maintaining a professional presence.
Complete daily activity reports and incident reports, support investigations when requested, and coordinate with Allied Universal leadership and local law enforcement during escalated situations.
