As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a prestigious residential location, you will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
At least 1 year of law enforcement experience or 2 years of experience as a security supervisor or manager or 3 years of security-related experience is required.
An armed guard card or license is required.
Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering or exiting the location.
Document and report security-related incidents, unusual observations, and maintenance issues as required.
Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency services when necessary.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential risks and promote a secure environment for residents and visitors.
