Requirements

Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
Possess an armed guard card or license.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
Respond to incidents and critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential property and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related concerns within the residential community.
Monitor and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or appropriate authorities.
Follow all site-specific post orders and instructions provided by Allied Universal.
Utilize appropriate communication and reporting tools to document incidents and routine activities as required.
Remain alert and prepared to respond as an armed security-related professional in accordance with all applicable laws and Allied Universal protocols.
