As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while supporting staff, patients, and visitors with respectful customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations, and respond to concerns with calm professionalism. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card and/or armed guard license.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by following site-specific procedures and security-related policies, and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying appropriate personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access points and controlled areas, assisting with visitor check-in direction, wayfinding, and/or enforcement of facility rules in a professional manner.
Complete reports and required logs, communicate relevant observations to supervisors and/or client representatives, and assist with security-related checks of doors, gates, and/or equipment as assigned.
